A Taste of 2018

Hey, all! I hope everyone has survived the holiday season in more A Christmas Story┬ámanner than National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.

Now that we’re fully into 2018, I thought I’d peek ahead at some of the films slated for release this year that we may end up talking about for you in this, our third season of the Visually Stunning Movie Podcast.

This list won’t be all-inclusive, and we may or may not actually get to see every one of these films, but maybe you’ll see something on this list you might not have known about, and make your way to the theater for it.

Proud Mary; 12 Strong; Den of Thieves; Mom and Dad; Please Stand By

Winchester; The 15:17 to Paris; Black Panther; The Party; Annihilation

Red Sparrow; A Wrinkle in Time; Thoroughbreds; Sherlock Gnomes; Pacific Rim: Uprising; The Isle of Dogs; Ready Player One

So that’s it for now. Hopefully we get to a fairly large chunk of these, plus a couple hang-overs from 2017 (such as The Greatest Showman). We look forward to continuing to inform and entertain you throughout 2018.

Justice League

Welcome back, everyone, to the Visually Stunning Movie Podcast. This time out, we’re on to the second potential Fall/Winter season blockbuster:

Justice League

DC and Warner Brothers are trying to build on the phenomenal success of the stand-alone Wonder Woman.

Can Batman/Bruce Wayne successfully unite this disparate group of heroes to battle the evil Steppenwolf? Can Batman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg save Superman and save the planet from obliteration?

(By the way: isn’t the planet in imminent danger of obliteration in all these superhero movies?)

I get the feeling we’re not all going to agree on this one, if history is any indication….

Another Bonus Episode! DC’s Justice League

Another quick hit bit of audio for you all. This time, after a recording session on another movie, I asked Ryan and Jason about a development concerning the upcoming DC film,

Justice League

Have a listen and let us know what YOU think about it.
