The Last Jedi – Revisit – Spoilers!!!

Very quickly, let me just say this episode was one I feel like we needed to do, not only to bring Jason back on board to get his thoughts, but to more directly address the reasons why we feel about this movie the way we do.

Ryan is still a 4 out of 5 on this one, and have listen to me and Jason spoiler this bad boy up for you as we break it down. Section by section, we unpack this so you can understand what we’re thinking as we roll through Rian Johnson’s vision.

No holds barred. Spoilers aplenty. Lots of language.

You have been warned.

Agree? Disagree? Let us know, but you’d better come with a why?/why not? with those.

Now, without any further ado, is our revisit of

The Last Jedi

Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Oh, dear. In a year filled with Thor, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Wonder Woman, Dunkirk, and Justice League,  we are finally face to face with the sure-fire blockbuster movie all of them avoided going up against.

The cinematic juggernaut of juggernauts,

Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Episode VIII, for all of you keeping track at home (or Episode 8 if your school didn’t teach Roman numerals), this Rian Johnson-directed installment of the Skywalker family saga has been eagerly awaited by fans since the the final credits ran on Episode VII (7) 2 years ago.

What could The Last Jedi do to top The Force Awakens?

What doesn’t it do? Or try to?

Episode 04.5 – “Salt Lake Comic Con 2016” Wrap-up

Yes, we know it’s not movie related, per se, but since Jason and I both attended the recent Salt Lake Comic Con, we decided we really should talk about it.

It’s got movie stars, so it works.

Nestled between episodes 4 and 5 of the podcast, we made this presentation for YouTube, covering the good, bad, and ugly of the con. [Editor’s Note: For the record, there was way more of the first, and not very much of the second or third.]

And since the Visually Stunning Movie Podcast now has a new home, I figured I should get this put back where it belongs, which is here.

Have a look/listen if you haven’t seen it before, or watch it again and relive the joy that was Salt Lake Comic Con, and remember to start planning for next year’s event now. It it scheduled for September 21-23, 2017.

Enjoy!
