Adapted from the book of the same name, and previously made into a TV miniseries (to a somewhat mixed reaction), Hollywood has decided that this tale of childhood horror deserved a second shot.

Is it going to scare up enough green at the box office and lift an otherwise uncooperative cumulative gross for Hollywood this year?
