What’s up, everyone? This time out, I’m going to give you a brief look at a new film, hitting VOD on July 10,

Darkness Reigns

Written and directed by Andrew P. Jones, and starring Casper Van Dien, Zachary Mooren, Linara Washington, Peter Mayer, Ford Fanter, Jennifer Wenger, and James Packard, Darkness Reigns is the story of a frustrated behind-the-scenes film crew shooting material for the DVD extras of the film-within-the-film, Defanatus Soul.

Shot on location at a suitably fancy, abandoned, and supposedly haunted hotel–for free! Low-budget win!–the horror movie will fall prey to an evil they couldn’t have anticipated, but the documentary crew will capture it all.

Why does the demon/evil want to destroy this B-movie horror crew?
