Alita: Battle Angel features Rosa Salazar as cyborg-cum-daughter Alita, Christoph Waltz, Jennifer Connelly, Mahershala Ali, Ed Skrein, Jackie Earle Haley, and Keean Johnson.

Hollywood’s record with adaptations are a bit spotty, thanks to films like Ghost in the Shell. But, is it possible that the titan of CGI blockbusters, James Cameron, and the storytelling skill of Rodriguez can pull this one off?
