Written and directed by Simon Kinberg (based on the incredible John Byrne/Chris Claremont “Dark Phoenix Saga” from Marvel Comics), Dark Phoenix brings the X-Men “First Class” trilogy to a conclusion.

Or it is “an end?”

We shall see.

Dark Phoenix stars Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Alexandra Shipp, Evan Peters, Kodi Smit-McPhee, and Jessica Chastain.

A lot of concern has surrounded this picture since its inception. Let’s see how it did.

*Well, unless they actually manage to get New Mutants released…
