Earlier this year, there was a film called The Hunt, which was pulled from release because apparently it was going to annoy people on both sides of the political spectrum. As of yet, we haven’t gotten to see that piece of cinema, but we do have this similarly-named, similarly-inspired bit of film:
American Hunt
From High Octane Pictures, and writer director Aaron Mirtes, American Hunt stars Lacy Hartselle, Cris Ruiz, and Allison Shrum as three friends who find themselves being hunted–after a ten-minute head start, of course–as part of a sick game being played by Taylor Novak, and his brother, Brad Belemjian.
Loosely based on the classic short story “The Most Dangerous Game,” can American Hunt rise above it’s simple premise to provide a new spin on humanity hunting its own?
Let’s see if we can track down the answer.
American Hunt begins on December 3 of DVD and Digital.
