185 Minutes, Rated PG-13
Written by Jon Spaihts, Eric Roth, and Denis Villeneuve (based on the novel by Frank Herbert)

Synopsis:
Feature adaptation of Frank Herbert’s science fiction novel, about the son of a noble family entrusted with the protection of the most valuable asset and most vital element in the galaxy.
Well, this has been a long time coming. Several release dates and strategies for Dune have come and gone and now, finally, we will get to see Denis Villeneuve’s vision for Frank Herbert’s sprawling political/science fiction epic: Dune.
With a “cast of thousands” it seems, can this version of a once-thought “unfilmable” book live up to the hype and expectation of fans of both the novel and cinema in general have placed on it?
Listen as we discuss, in agonizing detail, what we think was done right–and wrong–this time around.
Dune will hit theaters and HBO Max on Friday, October 22, 2021.
Dune stars Timothee Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Zendaya, Jason Momoa, Stellan Skarsgard, Josh Brolin, Javer Barden, Dave Bautista, David Dastmalchian, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Chen Chang, and Charlotte Rampling.
