Domestic drama. Gotta love it.

But it’s not the drama you think. Sure, you’ll get close to it, as I did, but you likely won’t get all the way there.

And if you do, good on you, because I didn’t, not till it was too late to count.

A tight script helps this pandemic-shot film work, with the performances of our 3 leads carrying this “who done what to and with whom” little mystery-thriller along.

Mostly conducted at a not-frantic pace, the movie almost never drags through its 96-minute runtime, which is good, because otherwise it might have simply become a Hallmark movie of the week.

It was definitely enjoyable enough, and I’m going to go ahead and recommend you seek it out to watch if you’re in the mood for a non-blockbuster, non-action-oriented shoot-em-up movie, but rather something a little bit more intimate.
