Children of Sin – Movie Review
Written and Directed by Christopher Wesley Moore
**Read my review, then listen for more.**
Synopsis:
After being sent to a sinister religious retreat by their stepfather, two siblings fight to escape in order to save their mother from harm’s way.
*sigh*
I actually told the PR folks handling this one I HATE movies like this because they’re are designed to be looked at specifically as kind of litmus test of the viewers socio-political leanings.
And when filmmakers do that, it pretty much guarantees that the film itself is going to be nothing more than a vessel to present a bunch of stereotypes to the audience.
This is no exception.
Designed as either A) a scathing indictment of religious folks by people who want or believe them all to be like those depicted here, or B) a farce of the people who want religious people to all be like this.
Either way, it makes for a lousy movie.
Let’s not even get into the production value or actual acting.
Listen for more details, but the bottom line remains the same: Children of Sin isn’t very (any) good.
Children of Sin is currently available on Amazon Prime Video and stars Blake Wing, Keni Bounds, Jeff Buchwald, Meredith Mohler, Jo-Ann Robinson, Ana-Claire Henley, Cami Roebuck, and Lewis Hinds.
