Synopsis:

Two estranged siblings return home to the sprawling ranch they once knew and loved, confronting a deep and bitter family legacy against a mythic American backdrop.

Montana Story is one of those mid-budget, character-driven films that audiences say they want more of instead of bloated, big-budget tent-pole franchise films, and then fail to go an see when they show up.

And in this case, that would be crime.

The young cast play their roles perfectly, saying what needs to be said, and showing us the rest.

Look, it’s just a really wonderful film that it’s hard to over-state how well made it is.

Watch it.

Montana Story hit select theaters May 12, and will (hopefully) enjoy a wide opening on May 27, and stars Haley Lu Richardson, Owen Teague, Gilbert Owuor, Kimberly Guerrero, Asivak Koostachin, and Eugene Brave Rock.
