Arguably the BIGGEST release of the week is Warner Brothers’ newest DC superhero release,

Aquaman

Directed by James Wan, written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick and Will Beall, Aquaman is the showcase for Jason Momoa to strut (swim?) his stuff for movie audiences.

After the mixed reactions to Man of Steel, Batman vs Superman, and Justice League, can  Aquaman possibly equal the critical reception of Wonder Woman?

Also starring Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman, Dolph Lundgren, Willem Dafoe, and Patrick Wilson, will DC finally get an unabashed success with Aquaman?
