Look, sometimes you just need a film that lets you have some fun for a couple hours.

I give you:

Demon Squad

Demon Squad (NOT Night Hunters… not anymore)

Yes, I know the poster says Night Hunters, but there was a last minute title change.

We’ve talked about this.

Director Thomas Smith,  who also co-wrote with Erin Lilley, presents the story of Nick Moon, PI (that’s Paranormal Investigator, if you’re keeping track at home).

Synopsis: Nick Moon, P.I. (Paranormal Investigator), would be nursing a hangover if not for his beautiful new client: the heiress Lilah Fontaine. Instead, with the help of his office manager and empath-in-training, Daisy O’Reilly, Moon delves into a hidden world of monsters and creatures of the night as he takes on a case to retrieve an ancient artifact with astonishing power.

With Khristian Fulmer as Nick Moon, Erin Lilley as his suffering, empathic assistant Daisy O’Reilly, and Leah Christine Johnson as femme fatale Lilah Fontaine, Demon Squad brings some humor to the horror/thriller genre.

Demon Squad releases June 25 from Wild Eye Releasing.
