This week, Universal dips its toe back into the “Dark Universe” last seen in the Tom Cruise bust, The Mummy.
This time, we get an updated take on
The Invisible Man
From writer/director Leigh Whannell, best known for creating the Saw universe, and produced by the aforementioned Dark Universe and Blumhouse Productions, The Invisible Man surely stands a better chance than Cruise’s Mummy, right?
Synopsis:
When Cecilia’s abusive ex takes his own life and leaves her his fortune, she suspects his death was a hoax. As a series of coincidences turn lethal, Cecilia works to prove that she is being hunted by someone nobody can see.
Starring Elizabeth Moss, Aldis Hodge, Storm Reid, Harriet Dyer, Michael Dorman, and Oliver Jackson-Cohen, the cast is a solid bunch of folks, more than capable of supporting the material.
